What answered prayers depend on?

Have you ever thought to yourself why some prayers are not answered by God?
what Happens when we pray for someone to be healed and there is no healing takes place?

Mark 11:22-26

²² Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. ²³ I assure you that whoever tells this hill to get up and throw itself in the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. ²⁴ For this reason I tell you: When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for. ²⁵ And when you stand and pray, forgive anything you may have against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive the wrongs you have done.” ²⁶ If you do not forgive others, your Father in heaven will not forgive the wrongs you have done

so in Order for God to answer prayers, we will need to have faith and forgive.

IN verse 24, Jesus says" whatever you ask" does that mean we can ask for anything? ect cash , sports car ,  mansion

James 4:2-3

Prayers with bad motives and does not glorified God.

Israel Crosses the Jordan

3 Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove^[a] and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over. ² So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp; ³ and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. ⁴ Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.”

⁵ And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” ⁶ Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over before the people.”
So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.
