Presenting MarinaBay Sands. My views on their Casino
Wow.. Am finally back from a 14hour work shift at MarinabaySands casino. Spenting my 2nd day of CNY from 9am - 11pm working. I have decided to write up something as one random person commented on our local casino. This is how the conversation goes.
Lady: MBS casino so no standard and it seems like I'm going into some market to play.
Me: Huh? why no standard? I thought Singapore such a modern country their casino should be top 10 in the world? Sorry ah. i never been into other casinos other then this.
Lady: Just look at the dress code and you will understand why. Even Genting & States does not allow berms and sandals into their premise.
Me: I'm sorry. Did't know it's such a bad experience for you.
Well well.. it's just so true i felt. Hopefully MBS management could do something to UP the standard alittle. As i was watching people from the casino walking in and out, So many questions went thought my mind.
Why gamble when you are not rich? 50% of peeps who went to the casino were S pass holders ( construction workers). Earning like $4 an hour, why throwing all your hard earn cash here? DO YOU know? In Singapore, Min Betting sum is $25 bucks while Genting going at $5 only. Looking at poor workers and couples walking out of the casino depress/soob makes me empathy and there's nothing i could do. Oh well....

the reason why people gamble as one physocologist believe is that..
especially lotteries is that with no or minimal efort a small bet yields thousands..even millions in return...
this is the pull in betting in lotteries..
everyone wants to be rich overnight without the hardwork..to me they are just too lazy to work for it..
the gangsters are the one who runs bets...and now they are legitimised by sharing it with your dear gov..
Yes true true... Simple theory. Been feeding your pet dog food and suddenly you leave it to stray. It will just die.
So yes. I really sirlute some people who will not be greed and control their bettings... ALl the best to those who cant control themselves i guess.
