We are most like the holy spirt when we are encourage.

Willingly encourage

.Acts 4:37
37sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles' feet
Barnabas was generous to the apostles

 Acts 9:26
26When he came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he really was a disciple.

Barnabas vouched for Paul

Acts 11:23
23When he arrived and saw the evidence of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.

Barnabas affirmed the Gentiles We have obstacles to encourage but they are just excuses. 4 cath of words we use a day. All. Most - helpful. Some- benificial. Few So there's no excuse to encorage and it's free! When the holy sprit do for us in the inside, we must do it on the outside.

 How to encourage ?
1) How can I pray for you
2) eyeball2eyeball- taking time to meet you up
3) I-encourage - use SMS or call
4) e- encourage- blog, tweetie , msn

Let's all encourage someone willingly today Intentionally encourage.

Barnabas developed Paul. Barnabas developed mark You can be a barnabas today!
You don't have to be a leader to encourage someone. Compassionately encourage

2 cor 1:3-5

The God of All Comfort

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

What about slotting in the world comfort in the verse with encourage.
 try swapping Comfort= encourage!

 2 cor 12:9
9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Strength in weakness
