Missions weekend at Batam

Yahoo! Finally the ferry is moving , sailing back to Singapore. Home sweet home at last. This trip is so meaningful and I learnt not to take this in life not for granted.
The city of lights, proper road and pavements and is just something I wanna thank god for.



Day 1 :


Visited some family in kampong Salak which is 30min from the bible college in batam central. Can u even believed it? Their house built of pure zin metal on the hills where there is no proper toilets and water supplies? Leaving on a income of sgd$300 or less for a few months?

From just this short trip, I really learnt to appreciation every bit and pieces of life and what god could to do help us all. But first we must always seek him and place him first.

5pm:

headed to batam mega mall for the famous ayam punyet and had the most special drink around. Some veg+mango juice and chendo drink. It's mouth watering thou.

7pm:

went to the kampong area at the end of batam for a time of worship , games and message lead by elo , Judith and myself. Was touch by everything the kids. Thou communication is a problem, those kids are hungry for his word. Ended my day right after a good and savory dinner at BBQ & seafood centre. Wow what big crabs they got!

Day 2

Rise and shine.. Feeling so shag and tired after a long day yesterday. Had breakfast at the hotels lobby. BreAd, coffee and fried rice :) went straight to the bible college for Sunday service. I'm teAmed with Judith and Elo once Again. Judith leading worship , elo the short sermon and myself the games. Quite Im-prompt-to thou. But every single one of us had fun. Gave out lots and lots of presents to the kids. But but I'm sweating like no one business:) haha. Went to Nagoya hill shopping mall and had A&W meal for liIunch at the expense of grace missions once again:-) headed to bukit senyum for home visitations and a short prayer to the families.

Come to batam with glory and head back with joy! Good day people!

P.s: wonder huijun remember my polo shirt anot. Hm... Must be having fun there right now. Shopping queen? ;- ) SOME weido juice i got. can be found in batam only
